The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) is a U.S. federal law that regulates chemical substances and mixtures, with the objective of protecting human health and the environment from unreasonable risks associated with chemicals.

 

TSCA establishes requirements relating to the manufacture, import, processing, use and disposal of chemical substances, including requirements for reporting, recordkeeping, testing and restrictions on certain substances.
